
JUSTIN "JUS" PERTICONE Jackson, MIA member of the WSHPA since 1973. Served as Vice President of the Jackson Club. Publicity Agent for five years and Tournament Director for many years. Chairman of the Michigan / Ontario Friendship tournament one year. 1st vice president of the WSHPA for four years, 1981-84. Chairman of the Hall of Fame committee for two years. Chairman of the world tournament committee for Michigan for 1988 Promoter for horseshoe in the Jackson area schools. Jus won the class C-2 title in the state tournament in 1975. He finished second in class B once, and finished 3rd twice in other state tournaments. He was Class A Intermediate champion in 1993. He worked hard to maintain the courts in the Jackson club. He also worked to raise money to build the indoor courts. He became a class A pitcher and a contender for the state title. In 1987 he was runner up to State Champion Leo Fitzpatrick. He pitched on the Michigan team in the Friendship tournament. He pitched in world tournaments and served as a delegate to the national convention. Jus has a high tournament game of 86%. He has won many titles in our district tournaments. |
