Frank has been a member of the WSHPA since 1964.

Frank started pitching horseshoes when he was a young boy.

He started pitching in competition in local contest about the mid 1950's.
Frank has competed in many state championships. He competed in the state championship in 1984 and won class C. He placed second in class B-2 in 1983.
He later won the 2000 Elders class C championship.

Frank has organized many leagues around the Jackson and Ann Arbor areas. He has helped set up and run many local small town contests.

He organized a league in Clinton and built 9 courts and then ran WSHPA scheduled tournaments for two years.

Frank presently belongs to the Dundee Sportsman Club and directs a horseshoe division league. He has run this league for more than 20 years.
