DICK PELTON       Concord, MI

Dick has been a Member of the WSHPA since 1970.

He is a dedicated member and served as the state secretary 1974-75, 1986 through 1990

He was the state association president in 1979 through 1982


He has pitched on the Michigan team in the Michigan/Ontario Friendship Tournament and one time defeated the great Elmer Hohl of Ontario.

Dick won class B-2 in the state tournament in 1973.
He was Class A Intermediate Champion 1988, 89, 90, 91 and 92
Water Wonderland 1st Place in class C 1978
World Tournament 1st place in class D 1982
He was Runner-up to State Champion Chal Torrey in 1983

Served as a delegate to the national convention.

He has served as the tournament director for the indoor tournaments at Jackson.

He has served as chairman and a member of many committees.

Dick became a class A pitcher and a contender for the state title

Note: Dick was given a lifetime membership to the WSHPA for his many years of service to the association, but requested that this be awarded to another member when he retired from pitching and moving to Florida where he currently resides.
