JOE LAZTKO Flint, MI Joe was a long time member of the WSHPA. He won the state championship title 13 times. Joe was a six time runner-up to the state champions. In the 1943 state tournament held in Ann Arbor, Joe averaged 76.9%.Joe pitched the most ringers in a state tournament in 1940, he had 1542. Joe and Bob Hitt had the most four deads in one game in a state tournament (26) in 1938 
Joe was a member of the Flint horseshoe team. For many years the Flint team as well as the the Detroit team (consisting of members like Lee Jacobs and Carl Lundgren) would compete with other teams in Michigan on a regular circuit.Joe is the First member to be inducted in to the WSHPA Hall of Fame
