Dewey placed First in Class D in the Midwest Invitational Tournament at Indianapolis in 1986.Dewey placed Third in Mens Preliminaries - Section 2 Class I in the World Tournament at Lafayette, In. in 1985. Dewey held office or served on the following committees: 1982 Secretary WSHPA 1983 Secretary WSHPA 1984 Horseshoe and Related Items Salesman Member - Constitution and By-Laws Committee 1985 Horseshoe and Related Items Salesman Member - Constitution and By-Laws Committee 1986 Horseshoe and Related Items Salesman Member - Audit and Finance Committee later became chairman of this committee 1987 Ringer Report Editor 1989-1995 Treasurer WSHPA 1996-97 Chairman - Audit and Finance Committee Dewey pitched in the Chief Okemos Sportsman Horseshoe League since 1975 . Dewey pitched in the Capitol City League since 1984. 
Dewey became tournament director of the Greater Lansing Horseshoe Club a position he held for many years.1999 - present Chairman of Hall of Fame committee. |
