HELEN JACOBS Bellville, MI Wife of Lee Jacobs 60 years Finished sixth in the Ladies Class A world tournament held in 1935 at Chicago. Was Lady State Champ for seven years from 1926 to 1935. Helped her husband Lee run many tournaments in the state and the world. She won the Water Wonderland Class B Ladies title in 1968. Also Class A Lake Orion 1967, Weston 1st Place in Class B 1967, and in Burr Oak Class B 1967. Helen has served on the Hall of Fame committee. |
