Inducted into the WSHPA Hall of Fame at Adrian, MI. 1995 Dorothy has been a member of the WSHPA since 1978. She has won two Ladies state championships.
She won in 1989 and again in 1992. She was runner-up in 1990 and again in 1991.

Dorothy went to the World Tournament two times and came in second in her class both times.

Dorothy has represented Michigan in the Midwest Tournament as State Champion and also as runner-up a couple of times.

Dorothy has been to North Carolina to the Dogwood Tournament two times.

Dorothy has been to Pennsylvania to the Eastern National Tournament.
She competed in class A

Dorothy has been to New York State to the Eastern National Tournament where she won 1st place in class B.

Dorothy has been to Ohio for the Ringer Classic many years since she started pitching. She has won class B two times and class C once. The last few years she has qualified for the championship class.

Dorothy has not missed a MI/ON Friendship Tournament since she started pitching.

Dorothy along with her husband Marv have supported tournament pitching probably better than any other pitchers during their career. They have pitched in 20 to 30 tournaments a year since they started pitching.

Dorothy was 2nd vice president in 1995.
Dorothy was on the Grievance committee in 1995.
Dorothy was 1st vice president 1996
Dorothy was chairman of the Constitution and By-Laws Committee in 1996

Dorothy worked with the Ladies Auxiliary since she started pitching.
The Ladies Auxiliary holds raffles and sales to raise money for flowers and cards for the flower fund.
They also donate money for tournaments and special projects.

Dorothy has always been a good sportsman. She is a lady on and off the courts and has outstanding character.

Dorothy promoted ladies horseshoe pitching since she started and has had two grandchildren compete. With one of them winning a state championship title in class B in 1993.

Dorothy had an all time high game of 87.5% which she pitched on a couple of occasions.
