CLAYTON CHAMPION       Galesburg, MI

Clayton started pitching in a back yard league in 1978.
He also joined the WSHP A and NHPA in 1978.

The Kalamazoo Area Horseshoe Club (KAHC) started to build their club courts in 1982 and he was very instrumental in the building of the courts as he is was a contractor.
Clayton did most of the electric and water installation, digging trenches, erecting poles, stringing wire and providing materials.

He has been vice president of the KAHC club since it was started. He has also filled in on most other jobs when needed.
He is always in on the preparation of courts before tournaments and cleaning up afterward.

He pitched in the World Tournament held in Eau Claire, WI.

He pitched in the Las Vegas Open several times. He placed 4th in his class one time.

Clayton has pitched in the Michigan-Ontario Friendship tournament many times, both here and there.
He is a very dedicated member of the WSHPA and NHPA.
He has also been a strong promoter of horseshoes and we are sure he will continue to do so.
