CONSTITUTION/BY-LAWS CHANGE PROPOSAL #1

Article 1 – Name

Now reads – The name of this association shall be WOLVERINE HORSESHOE PITCHERS ASSOCIATION (WSHPA)

Change to read – The name of this association shall be MICHIGAN HORSESHOE PITCHERS ASSOCIATION (MHPA)

Reason:  We acquired the current name when the Upper Peninsula had a charter.  They no longer have a charter and since we are the recognized State Charter for Michigan, the name would better reflect who we are.  It would agree with our web site and provide us with the recognition as State Charter and not an association within the state.  All references to the WSHPA or Wolverine State Horseshoe Pitchers Association would have to be changed within the Constitution and By-Laws.
