CARL LUNDGREN Detroit, MI Carl never won the state title but was 4 times runner-up in 1937, 42, 43 and 1954.In 1962 he was still hanging in there at the age of 70 fighting for the title. Along with Bob Hitt he was a great promoter of our sport. He pitched in worlds tournaments. He finished #32 in 1959 1961 He pitched some of the great pitchers in Ohio like Harold Reno and Paul Focht. Other Tournaments 1967 World Seniors Class A # 24 was runner-up to Lee Jacobs in the AAU tourney of 1942. 1936 Served as vice president of our association.
