JOE LENARD Detroit, MI Joe was a member of the WSHPA for many years.He pitched in over 25 state tournaments. He was a class A pitcher and very tough competitor and would average in the 60s Joe won the class A group in the 1971 Water Wonderland tournament after a three way tie with Phil Carra and Harold Darnold of Iowa. Joe won the class B state title in 1975> He won the class D-1 state title in 1978 He won the Class D-2 state title in 1984 He was a delegate to the NHPA convention. Joe served on several committees, was a willing score keeper and a gentleman on and off the courts. Joe has pitched in many district tournaments and has won many titles in his class. |
