CHRIS SMITH Warren, MIChris held the offices of Vice President, Statistician and Tournament Director for the Lake Orion Horseshoe Club. She was also an integral part of a small group, that in the mid 80's were instrumental in keeping these courts (Lake Orion) from fall apart and fading away into history. For all her endless work, over many years, she was honored by the Club with a Lifetime Membership in 2001 She joined the WSHPA in 1978 and was a member for over 20 years, player for most of those and an overall supporter of the WSHPA (MHPA) She held the office of President for the WSHPA Ladies Auxiliary and served on various state committees. Both her and her husband, were strong supporters of our international friendship tournament. The Michigan-Ontario and have maintained off the court relationships with many of our Canadian friends. She has been married to another Hall of Fame member, Moses for over 50 years, he was inducted into the Hall of fame in 1192 and her son Kevin was inducted in 2006. Her son stated, "I'm so happy for my Mom, she really deserved this honor and long before I ever did. Without her support of my interest as a youth, and the game in general, I doubt that I would still be involved today. She just loves the game like I do."
