Player, Organizer, Promoter, Tournament Director, Bookkeeper, Court MaintenanceServed as State Secretary 1969-70 -71. Served on the board of directors and on many committees. Jim was a member of the Dimondale club and Later a member of the Chief Okemos Sportsman's Club Horseshoe club. Jim was a hard worker and helped run the Michigan / Ontario Friendship Tournament. He has attended several world tournaments and served as a delegate to our national convention. Jim Pitched in many district tournaments and won several first place titles, averaging between 35-40%. Jim passed away in 1981 and will be miss by all that knew him. |
