Club Information
Founded in 1980

Our Club offers play to all ages from 8 on up. We always seek to promote sportsmanship and comradery. The club is a member of the Wolverine State Horseshoe Pitchers Association. Kalamazoo hosts several events such as the Michigan / Ontario Friendship Tournament, State Tournaments as well as open and sanctioned events.
- Games are 40 SHOES per player, using "Count-All" format.
- 120 Scratch - average x 90% = handicap
- League scoring is done on a handicapped basis so that the skill level is more equal
- Count all points so you get what you earn
- Leage play is set by membership and/or club officers
- Each week results are collected and put on a summary sheet showing all performances. Individual sheets are available upon request
- Our schedule generally starts some time in May (weather permitting) and extends into Sept. (this time allows for weather not permitting play
- Day of the week for league play is Wednesday. Assemble and practice begins at 6:PM. Play begins when everyone is signed in and assignments have been complete, hopefully by 6:30PM
- Length of play is usually completed by 8:30PM, We have lights if needed.
To enter a Sanctioned Tournaments requires membership into the NHPA and WSHPA (Wolverine State Horseshoe Pitcher Association)
