The 2011 Brighton Horseshoe Pitchers Club Season will begin:

There will be a short members meeting before we pitch shoes.

We are always looking for new members! Please try to personally ask someone you know to come join us.
Dues will be collected at this time.!!!
Dues are : $15 a year

    New Members: Mark Auty and Bill Erickson
    See separate Treasurer's Report (current balance is $651.73)
    To conserve money, Porta John will only be available for the months of July and August, since we are hosting tournaments those months. We can use the school or the Porta Johns at the ball fields if needed, prior to July.

    2011 League format:
    After a brief discussion considering a doubles "cancellation" format or singles "count all" format, it was agreed to by all to maintain the singles "count all" format.
    BHPC tournaments are July 2,3 & 4 and August 27 & 28. All club members are encouraged to participate. No changes to the rules or by-laws were proposed.

    Election of Officers:
    President - Steve Summerlin was re-elected as President.
    Vice President - Star Tanner was elected as Vice President.
    Secretary / Treasurer: Paul Bachelor was re-elected as Secretary / Treasurer.
    Membership Dues: After a brief discussion, it was agreed to set membership dues at $15 a calendar year. Dues were collected for all members present.

    There was no new business to discuss, and the meeting was adjourned.
