SCHPA Hall of Fame Nomination Form
For a number of years our charter has recognized outstanding achievements in the sport of horseshoe pitching by electing qualified members to the Southern California Horseshoe Pitchers Hall of Fame. Nominees for this honor must qualify in one or more of the following categories:
1. TOP PITCHER: 60% and above ringer percentage for a period of five or more years, and/or has won a State and/or World title.
2. ORGANIZER: has shown dedicated support and interest in promoting the sport of horseshoe pitching over a period of ten years or more. This dedication may have been evidenced as in the following examples:
(A). Participation in all aspects of SCHPA activities.
(B). Service as club and/or charter officer for at least five years.
(C). Displays a willingness to donate time for the benefit of all members of the
charter and to have shown constant responsibility in these efforts.
3. OVER 70 YEAR OLD PITCHER
Any member in good standing may nominate any past or present member of the SCHPA for consideration to be inducted into the SCHPA Hall of Fame. This form (or a facsimile copy of) must accompany any and all supporting documentation concerning your nomination. Tell us all you can about the person that you are nominating so as to assist the selection committee in considering your nomination for induction. You may use the back of this page and/or include as many additional pages as needed for you to justify why your nominated person should qualify for induction. All submitted documentation must be type written to be considered.
